With the optional cover strips, your custom-made built-in wardrobe closes off to the sides and ceiling without gaps. You can select these as an additional option in the 8th step of our wardrobe configurator. If you have any questions regarding the cover strips, our competent furnishing advice service will be happy to help you. As a special request, we can also produce other solutions for your blind strips; please contact our furnishing advisors.
Please note that you need a mounting distance of 3 cm to the side and to the ceiling.

If you would like to order a built-in wardrobe from Pickawood UK, it is very simple: You measure your niche and then subtract 3 cm mounting distance on all sides (left, top & right). You use this measurement to plan your wardrobe in our 3D configurator. The cover strips are about 2.5 cm thick and almost completely compensate for the deducted assembly distance. This results in a perfect shadow gap, which can be closed with acrylic if necessary. Our furnishing advisors will be happy to assist you in planning for a perfectly fitting result.

You need a mounting distance of 3 cm to all sides (left, top & right). This distance will be compensated for later by our blind strips. If you have any questions about assembly, please contact us at any time.
In the last step of the configurator, you can add cover strips to your planning by clicking on "Cover strip for built-in wardrobes". These have a thickness of about 2.5 cm, which results in an even shadow gap.
You can also plan a fitted wardrobe without doors or with just a few doors and use it as a coat rack in the entrance area. You can find some examples of this in our customer gallery.
Yes, in the shopping basket you have the option of booking an assembly service. The costs depend on your planning and the delivery area, the price is displayed directly in this step. You can also select other services such as after-work or weekend delivery. Good to know: If you should still decide on an assembly service after placing your order, please send us a short message with your order number. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote.

If you want a built-in wardrobe with a clothes rail, we at Pickawood UK recommend a depth of at least 55 cm. If you only need storage space for your clothes, a shallower depth of your wardrobe will be sufficient.
Many of our customers want to add eye-catching colour accents with fronts made of a different material. Therefore, it is no problem to choose the material of the doors and drawers independently of the carcase. If a combination is not possible, we will be happy to check whether this is possible as a special request.
