At Pickawood UK, you can easily plan your customised wardrobes with just a few clicks. Our range extends from practical wardrobes with an integrated bench for convenient shoe changes to elegant built-in wardrobes that fit perfectly into your room. You have the option of designing your wardrobe with doors and drawers or choosing open compartments to ensure quick access to jackets and accessories. These options not only influence the look, but also make the wardrobe particularly functional.
Details such as robust clothes rails, shoe compartments and hooks for accessories can also be customised so that your wardrobe is tailored precisely to your needs. For even more convenience, integrated benches, mirrors or dirt-resistant surfaces can be added, making the wardrobe particularly practical for everyday use in the entrance area. You can also customise plinths, skirting board cut-outs and other details to round off the design both functionally and aesthetically. Our in-house carpenters realise custom-made products and special designs according to your wishes.

An eye-catcher for your hallway
Determine the exact dimensions of your wardrobe so that it fits perfectly in your entrance area. You can choose the width to the centimetre between 30 cm and 600 cm, the height between 30 cm and 300 cm and the depth between 20 cm and 80 cm. This allows you to customise your wardrobe to suit your space.
Choose from high-quality materials such as decors, lacquered MDF or real wood veneer to achieve the desired design and feel. Each material has its own aesthetic advantages and can be combined to match your interior.
Determine the number of columns and the height of the compartments. Customise the layout so that it optimally meets your storage requirements - from clothes rails for jackets and coats to compartments for shoes, bags or accessories.
Equip your wardrobe with doors and drawers as you wish. Choose between mirrored doors, hinged doors or flap doors to create the storage space, functionality and design you want. Drawers offer additional space for accessories or smaller items and ensure a tidy appearance.
A made-to-measure wardrobe in the hallway not only looks chic, it also offers plenty of space for everyday items. This makes it easy to hide things that are not particularly decorative behind fronts. It is up to you whether you plan the hallway storage narrow or wide, with the simple online configurator all options are open to you. The custom-made wardrobe can also be used wonderfully as a shoe cupboard. Plan the compartments in the lower part of your wardrobe accordingly. Shoes need about 15 cm of space in height and 10 cm in width. Boots, on the other hand, need about 40 cm of space in height and 10 cm in width. Once you have defined the maximum height of the hallway storage and the number of columns, you can adjust the height individually by clicking on the column arrow. Keep the mouse button pressed while doing so. If you are planning the hallway storage on a touch-enabled device, you can easily adjust the height with your finger.
That depends entirely on the intended use. If you have a large family, you will need more space and more clothes rails accordingly. As a rough guide, hanging jackets need a height of 115 cm (recommended shelf height) and a depth of 60 cm. A long coat, on the other hand, needs a shelf height of approx. 160 cm.
This is possible in principle. You should make sure that the gaps in the area to be used as a seat are as narrow as possible (ideally less than 40 cm per gap) so that the weight can be distributed well. You can also order a solid wood cover plate for the seat from us.
We advise against using a push-to-open solution for large doors and drawers, as these are difficult to open. We are happy to check in individual cases whether such a solution can still make sense.
The delivery time depends on the chosen material, the product and the country of delivery. You can find the respective delivery time in the configurator and the shopping basket.
In the 6th step of the configurator you will find the entire selection of interior fittings. There you will find extras such as LED lighting or interior drawers. Especially for large wardrobes, it is helpful to access the wardrobe with a clothes lift. You can also select this under the item "Interior fittings".
In our wardrobe configurator, every wardrobe has a back panel due to the stabilisation. On request, our furnishing advice will be happy to check whether a wardrobe production without a back panel is feasible.
