Are you looking for a highlight for your living room, bedroom or hallway to show off all your treasures to their best advantage? Discover our customised highboards! Our range extends from stylish sideboards to long highboards, ideal for displaying art and decorations. Due to their height, highboards not only offer plenty of storage space, but also a decorative surface.
With our user-friendly configurator, you can customise your highboard - whether as a wall unit with a wall bracket or as a room divider with a plinth on both sides. You can flexibly combine doors, drawers and open compartments and customise details such as plinths, skirting board cut-outs and back panels as you wish. Open compartments are suitable for decoration, while closed areas offer storage space.
Our carpenters can also realise special requests and individual designs. On request, we can equip your highboard with concealed technical storage space and guarantee stability for heavy objects. Delivery is convenient to your living room, and we also offer an assembly service on request. We will be happy to advise you personally to design the perfect highboard for your home. How to use the 3d configurator
Enter the height, width and depth of your piece of furniture and determine compartments and layout.
Choose the material, matching feet or plinth versions and plan doors & drawers over single or multiple compartments.
With just a few clicks, you can order your new display cabinet at Pickawood UK.
Display cabinets are typically placed in the hallway, living room or dining room and differ in height from flat-lying low sideboards and other bespoke cabinets. It is usually not possible to make a precise distinction between the different products, but display cabinets are typically higher than 110 cm. Configure your display cabinet from solid wood, plywood or coated and lacquered furniture boards. A mix of different materials is also possible with our furniture. Our display cabinets are real space wonders and have a unique design.
The unique thing about your new Display Cabinet is that you can plan it yourself in our online configurator. First enter the dimensions and then plan the layout of the columns and compartments step by step. If you want to have feet or plinth variations, this is also possible. In addition to our configurator, our furnishing advisors make all your wishes possible. Simply send us a message. Your display cabinet is made to measure by our partner companies using wood from sustainable forestry. Only certified quality products are used for the other components such as oil, varnish and fittings.
You can choose from different metal frames, wooden frames, base variants and feet in our 3D configurator.
It is possible to add castors in the configurator, but please note that Display Cabinets with castors can be planned up to a maximum height of 120 cm.
You can plan furniture from a width of 30 cm with us. Please note that very narrow, high pieces of furniture should definitely be attached to the wall.
We currently offer the solid wood types oak, beech, beech heartwood, pine, birch, ash, alder, cherry, walnut and maple. We also offer other types of wood as real wood veneer (coated furniture board).
We offer an optional assembly service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You can see the price for this directly in the shopping cart. Our furniture is always delivered in individual parts and can be assembled by yourself with little effort.
You can hang a picture above the Display Cabinet, place a vase on it or a lamp. Depending on your needs, it is also advisable to design one part of the compartments closed and another part open, so that the Display Cabinet looks tidy but still not too clunky.
Our furniture is usually kept very simple, so you can absolutely say that our design is modern. You can choose to design the exact design yourself or you can opt for one of our suggested modern designs.
In step 7 of the sideboard configurator you will find a large selection of handles. If you would like to order your Display Cabinet without handles, select our plain push-to-open.
The lacquered MDF surfaces we offer are standardised according to the RAL system. So if you already have a shelf in signal white RAL 9003 in your living room, the new Display Cabinet will match it in colour. Please note that the colour may change slightly due to sunlight, for example. You are also welcome to order and compare wood samples free of charge. This is especially recommended for solid woods.
For technical reasons, not all options are available at all times. Drawers, for example, require a minimum depth of 32 cm. If you move the mouse over one of the greyed-out fronts, the prerequisites for the front in the selected compartment will be displayed.
