Pickawood UK manufactures every wall unit individually and to the centimetre according to your wishes. Our range extends from simple TV lowboards to perfectly fitting built-in solutions or entire TV walls. Design your wall unit to be unique - whether with a wall bracket as a TV cabinet or as a special request with an elegant depth offset.
Wall units offer special functions that go beyond conventional shelving: Not only can they be flexibly planned with doors, drawers or open compartments, they also offer special storage space for multimedia devices such as televisions, games consoles and speakers. Integrated cable management conceals unsightly cables, while ventilation systems ensure that your technology does not overheat. Optional lighting elements can be added to set accents and stylishly showcase decorations.
Nothing is left to chance when it comes to stability either: Reinforced shelves and secure wall brackets guarantee that even heavy appliances can be stored without any problems. Open compartments offer an airy, modern look and at the same time the opportunity to optimally integrate decorations and technology. Drawers and doors provide additional storage space, while back panels, plinths and skirting board cut-outs can be customised to ensure seamless integration into your room.
Your individual living wall
Specify the exact dimensions of your wall unit to fit perfectly into your room. You can choose the width to the centimetre between 30 cm and 600 cm, the height between 30 cm and 300 cm and the depth between 15 cm and 60 cm. This gives you complete flexibility, whether for a small TV solution or a room-filling wall unit.
Choose from high-quality materials such as solid wood, multiplex, decors, MDF or veneer. Each material has its own aesthetic and functional advantages, allowing you to perfectly match the design of your wall unit to your interior style.
Determine the number of columns and the height of the compartments. This configuration allows you to design the wall unit entirely according to your needs - whether for storing media devices, books or decorative items. This allows you to optimise functionality and storage space.
Equip your wall unit with doors and drawers to create storage space and keep things organised. You can choose between glass doors, hinged doors or flap doors, depending on how you want to organise your wall unit. Drawers offer additional storage space for accessories such as remote controls, cables or DVDs, and glass doors showcase decorative elements.
The living wall is the eye-catcher in every living room and should therefore be optimally matched to the room in terms of size. The material also plays a decisive role and significantly determines the appearance of your living room. Surely you know the problem: commercially available living walls are either too high or too wide, have too few or too many compartments or are simply not really coherent overall. A configuration of your furniture pieces is quite simple with us. You should know the dimensions and how many compartments and doors your wall unit should have. You can then enter this in the configurator and, thanks to the 180-degree view, see at any time what your finished wall unit will look like. By the way, you can approach the configuration at your leisure. Just tell us your e-mail address and we will send you your configuration by e-mail.
You are not sure which type of wood is right for your new living wall? We offer you only high-quality wood from sustainable forestry. You are welcome to order a wood sample to your home without obligation. So that your new wall unit fully meets your wishes, you are also welcome to send us a sketch. Then your wall unit will be made to measure and you can be sure that it will fit exactly in your living room. You are not sure about the measurement? Then rely on our interior design professionals and let them measure your living room. With the help of the latest laser technology, your living room will be measured to the millimeter and you will receive an individual offer from us.
Most of our living walls are made of solid wood. This makes them not only very durable, but also demonstrably improves the living environment. You do not have so much money for a new wall unit at the moment? That's not a problem either: just choose a living wall made of MDF or chipboard, because they are much cheaper than the models made of solid wood.
With us, you not only benefit from competent and free advice, but you can also have your new wall unit assembled by our employees if you wish. Our furnishing consultation in Hamburg is available to you during normal office hours. In Hamburg you will also find our showroom, where you can examine a variety of our products on site and convince yourself of the quality.
If you want to configure an individual bookcase system, you first need to know the dimensions. So, in the first step of the configuration, specify the exact dimensions. Then, in the second step, select how many compartments the living wall should have. Both the size and the position of the compartments you can determine individually. Now enter in the online configurator the places where the doors of your living wall should be. Last but not least, we offer various special configurations that you are welcome to tell us about.
Basically, you are quite free to configure your living wall. So you can place the doors and drawers exactly where you want them. By default, our doors are equipped with the popular soft close function. If you do not like this, you can of course provide the doors and drawers with handles. Here we offer you eight different, modern variants.
We recommend that you equip your new living wall with a sturdy back panel. Please note, however, that the overall depth is then reduced by about two centimeters. For better stability of the living wall, we also offer you a plinth or a wall bracket for an additional charge. The plinth height is seven centimeters; you are welcome to tell us your individual wishes and we will change the height individually. Another additional option, which is chosen by many customers, is the row of holes. This gives you the greatest possible flexibility and allows you to place your shelves exactly where you want them. A baseboard cutout also makes sense, because then you can place your living wall directly on the wall.
Already in the online configurator you can see how long the current delivery time of your new living wall will be approximately. Since it is an individual production, assume at least six weeks. Once your individual library shelf is ready, you will receive an e-mail from us in time and the piece of furniture will be delivered to you free of shipping costs within Germany.
