Wooden wardrobe cabinets design

Every home has at least one wardrobe. Clothes should be stored in it quickly, neatly and clearly. It is equally important that they can be taken out immediately and are ready to hand. In addition, the wardrobe must match the style of the interior and offer comfort and cosiness. At Pickawood Europe, you can expect a large selection of custom-made wardrobes.
From hinge-door wardrobes to walk-in wardrobes made to measure
Wardrobes with hinged or folding doors are among the classics among wardrobe models. With these pieces of furniture, the doors open outwards. Depending on the model, it is possible to open the different carcasses, i.e. the individual segments, separately from each other.
Laundry that is seldom used is stored in a dust-protected way. To get an overview of the entire wardrobe, you can usually also open all the revolving doors at the same time. Please note: If you decide on a wardrobe model with hinged doors, it is essential to take the space for the open wardrobe doors into account when measuring.
You can equip our models individually with handles of your choice. Choose between different handle variants and colours. When fitted with mirrored doors, the wardrobe not only offers a lot of storage space, but there is no need to install an additional wall or standing mirror.
Sliding door wardrobe by Pickawood Europe - lots of space in the room and lots of storage space
The hinged or double-door wardrobe requires some space to open the doors. A wardrobe with sliding doors, on the other hand, can be opened without taking up additional space in front of the piece of furniture. The doors of these wardrobes run on small rollers on rails at the bottom and top. To open them, you simply slide them to the side. This makes this type of wardrobe perfect for small rooms.
The modern wardrobes concentrate on the essentials and they are real space wonders. With our configurator, you can optimally adapt the wardrobe to your needs.
Sliding or floating doors: How do they differ?
As already mentioned, the sliding door runs on two rails. With a sliding door, there is only one rail at the top, into which the door is hung. It appears as if the wardrobe door is floating.

Jackets, caps, shoes, these are just some of the things that find their place in a wardrobe. Our extensive and high-quality range is just waiting to be discovered by you. A practical addition to this is a matching solid wood shelf made to measure.
Pickawood Europe offers you a wide range of wood types and materials. Furthermore, you can choose between different colours for your furniture. To make your choice easier, we give you the first four wood samples for free. If you need more samples, we charge 3.00 EUR for each additional sample. If you would like to get an overview of the RAL colours, we will be happy to lend you a RAL colour fan (subject to a charge).
The exact delivery time is influenced by various factors. It depends on the selected product and the desired material. The country also plays a role. The estimated delivery time is shown in the configurator and in the shopping basket. If you have special requests or at Christmas and Easter, the delivery may be extended by two to four weeks.

Especially with ceiling-high furniture or furniture that is to be installed in a niche, it is important to plan for so-called mounting clearances. For most pieces of furniture, they are 3 cm to the ceiling and 3 cm to the side. Sliding-door wardrobes are an exception; they require a safety clearance of 5 cm to the ceiling.
At Pickawood Europe we work with twelve types of solid wood. All wood comes from sustainable and European forestry.
MDF stands for medium density fibreboard. The material is extremely stable and can be coated or lacquered.
If you opt for a real wood veneer, it consists of a medium-density fibreboard to which a thin layer of real wood is applied. Veneers combine the advantages of both materials and convince with an attractive price.
If extreme stability is required, multiplex is the suitable material. It consists of many thin layers of birch wood. Its characteristic appearance provides a modern look.
Our premium decors are ideal for larger furniture, such as cupboards, due to their lighter weight. In addition, decor furniture has a shorter delivery time due to faster production processes.
In this case, we will be happy to check on request whether we can implement your special request. Possible options include door conversions, a depth offset or special constructions around corners.
